Lisa Marshall

Lisa Marshall

Lisa began practicing yoga during her second pregnancy in 1998. Knowing now the benefits that yoga has done for her body, mind, and spirit, she wishes she had started much sooner. As her practice deepened, so did her desire to share yoga with others. Lisa has an intuitive teaching style, which focuses on integrating alignment, acceptance, and intuition; core strength and grace; focus and surrender. She specializes in giving step-by-step instruction in the fundamentals of yoga postures and breathing technique. Her Pilates background has enabled her to incorporate strong core alignment into her yogilates classes. Her teaching is inspired by the wisdom of Desiree Rumbaugh, John Friend, and all her Anusara instructors along the way. She is an RYT, E.RYT, and the owner of Surya Center for Yoga. Lisa also teaches the Surya Center for Yoga Training Program.
